Meet your Acting Coach: Cerise Kellie
Cerise is our resident teaching artist. She draws upon her professional experience as an actor, writer, director to provide a unique perspective as a specialist teacher.
With 7 years of teaching experience and having worked 10 years in the entertainment industry, Cerise offers industry knowledge, personalised feedback and creative inspiration for every student she works with. She has completed her Certificate in Drama & Performance (CDPA) and a Certificate in Voice & Communication (CVCA), both with high distinctions.
She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music majoring in music theatre from the Australian Institute of Music.
Cerise has worked as a casual drama coach for Pymble Ladies College, supporting primary and high school students for prestigious competitions and preparing them for their end-of-year drama showcases.
She has provided private acting coaching and taught weekly classes and holiday workshops as a teaching artist with Marian St Theatre for Young People. Her classes explored musical theatre, public speaking, script work and group devised drama pieces.
Currently, she teaches co-curricular drama at Presbyterian Ladies’ College and work with their curricular drama department on various productions, offering additional support as an acting coach or dance choreographer.
A number of her private clients have received first place awards for competitions in filmmaking and speech.
Cerise is committed to nurturing the creative journey of each student and developing their skill set in a supportive environment, helping them blossom into confident and creative individuals!
