After You Productions is an award winning female-led film and entertainment company. It was co-founded by Laura Daniella Bucci and Cerise Kellie in 2020, amidst the Covid Pandemic.
Laura and Cerise specialise in the horror and thriller film genre. They tell stories through a female perspective that expose flaws in society and raise questions on the human condition.
Both founders met at the Australian Institute of Music studying a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) and graduated together in 2016. They loved music and dance but found themselves drawn to the exciting world of horror.
After You Productions has produced 3 short films to date including their award winning film, Because of Ava. Whilst both women direct, produce and perform, they each offer a different set of skills. Cerise is a scriptwriter and Laura works in video editing.
Laura and Cerise share the vision to create more original Australian content that is celebrated on the global stage. They believe the Australian accent should be widely heard overseas by international audiences. Both women aim to highlight different parts of Australia and illustrate a perspective that has not yet been seen.
